USPA NEWS - In 2015, the fair is already qualified as a must-see event on the contemporary fine craft scene, crosses borders and honors South Korea within the framework of the French-Korean crossover year, to ensure this prestigious set fittingly hosts pieces by 22 artists...
Following the success of the first edition that drew 33,000 visitors, Revelations 2015 continues to grow. The Banquet, the cultural exposition that is held in the Grand Palais as the backbone of the fair. Several archipelagos presenting over 100 pieces created by craft artists from all over the world : Chile, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Icelande, Japan, Norway, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Sweden, Senegal, Taiwan and Tunisia.
For this second edition, the international dimension has been given pride of place. Le Banquet takes on the form of organic archipelagos made up of several small islands, each dedicated to a country or region of the world. Over a hundred pieces, on loan from medium-based artists, designers, galleries, museums and collectors will be showcased in this unique setting. The strong dynamism of ancestral know-how linked to fine crafts, executed in a contemporary artistic context and emblematic of the regions on show.
Révélations proposes a more in-depth reflection on fine art via a cycle of conferences organised throughout the fair. With expert speakers, these encounters aim to encourage exchange with the public on the essential questions linked with the sector's current situation and its economic stakes.

Révélations also welcomes young visitors, via a programme of creative workshops specially designed for children aged 5 - 7 or 8 - 12, who will be offered an opportunity to try their hand at the many skills mastered in this year's country of honour, Korea.
