USPA NEWS - Jacky CHAN, 61 years, wants to work with his son Jaycee (32 years old) few months after he was released from prison from a 6 months prison sentence in February after pleading guilty. Jacky CHAN's latest film "DRAGON BLADE", is a 65 million Dollars action film pulling in more than 115 million Dollars
The son of jacky CHAN was found guilty to allowing others to use marijuana at his Beijing apartment. Jacky CHAN said that prison was a good thing for his son because it made him more mature and also that their relationship has changed for the better. After the detention of Jaycee, the Chinese authorities said they would ban celebrities linked to drug from appearing in movies and television shows in CHINA. However, Jaycee still appeared in a smal part in "Monk Comes Down the Mountain", which he had already finished shooting when he was detained. Jacky CHAN believes that the period of time spent in prison was a good thing for the reasons such as that he wrote songs and scripts and read a lot of books.
Jacky CHAN's movies coming soon include a China-Hollywood action Comedy called "Kung Fu Yoga", a World War II drama called "Railroad Tigers" and "Karate Kid 2". Jacky CHAN said looking for suitable movie projects for his son and for the time being, Jaycee would produce one of his records, expected out at the end of the year. He also said he hoped Jaycee would sing a duet with him on one of the tracks. He is not sure that it will happened, so he might have to find somebody to sing it for him.
